Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all well :)

I have finally been able to get some outfit photos! It's so difficult trying to find time recently :(
Been so busy at work and no time before or after work to get any; especially since it gets dark early now.
I am trying to sort somewhere in my room where I can take photos but I'm still in the process of doing that. Also my light is so bad in my room, it makes everything look yellow!

Anyway, this post is mainly about this beautiful blanket cape from New Look. A blanket cape is definitely a autumn must have, they are so stylish and cosy! This one from New Look is just perfect!
I decided to style it with a grey roll neck jumper, thick leggings and belt. The belt is so the cape doesn't swamp me and to show that I do have a waist under the layers.
I love the colours of this cape but if navy check isn't for you, there are many other colours and styles to suit your taste :)

I brought the roll neck last year and its so nice to see that they are back on trend this autumn! I plan to get some chunky knitted ones this year, there some nice ones in H&M at the moment.

You may recognise the rucksack from a previous post where I was planning on buying it.. well in case you hadn't guessed I brought it! I love it! It goes with almost everything and it is just amazing!

Blacket Cape, Roll Neck & Rucksack - New Look
Leggings - Topshop
Boots & Necklace - Primark

After I brought the cape, I decided to sketch a few outfits to see what I could style it with. The last sketch is what this outfit is based on. The only differences are the shoes and the colour of the roll neck.

(Please excuse the bad quality of the photo!)

For the rest of the outfit, the leggings are from Topshop and the boots are from Primark. I really like these leggings because they are thicker than normal leggings and I don't feel conscious in them (as in being worried that they are see through). The Primark boots are lovely but a little uncomfortable but then what do you expect for £15/20. I would love to invest in some really nice leather ones but I need to save up first.

That is all for this post, I hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to leave any links or comments below :)

Thank you for reading!

Hi all
Hope you are well :)

This post is about London Fashion Weekend, what I wore and did throughout that day.
Hope you enjoy it :)

- Oxford Street *Above* -

- In the courtyard of Somerset House *Above* -
- What I wore *Below* -

- The bag looks like its empty but its not!
I brought a jumper and they gave me a huge bag!
Which made walking through crowds a tad difficult :) -

My Outfit -
High Neck Jumper - New Look
Tartan Mini Skirt - New Look
Grid Print Rucksack - New Look
T-Bar Shoes - Primark

Boyfriend's Outfit -
Burgundy Shirt - Topman
Skinny Jeans - Topman
Shoes - Topman
Tweed Rucksack - Harris Tweed

As you can tell from my outfit, I am loving New Look's clothing at the moment. They have some amazing pieces in and I am planning to buy as much of it as I can!
I love the mini skirts and winter pastels collections. You may recognise the skirt from a previous post and if you do, you will already no that I am totally in love with this skirt. So I thought it would be perfect for London fashion weekend. I decided to add the pale pink jumper to soften the look a bit. Plus I thought it would match the winter pastel trend with a twist with the tartan. I felt like I had just stepped out of the film 'Clueless' but I loved my outfit.

My boyfriend's outfit is basically Topman (a bit like mine with New Look) its nice to see him wearing a shirt and shoes, as he usually opts for a tee and vans. I'm not saying thats bad, I love his style, but it was nice to him dressed up :)

We went to London fashion weekend on the Sunday and because I had won the tickets from Fluer B. London, it was entry only. Which was a shame as I would have loved to have seen one of the catwalks. I was going to upgrade the tickets but it would have cost a lot and that day I was running a bit low on funds. However I plan to go to February's one and I will attend one of the catwalks. Hopefully.
The day was still really good though, brought some bargains and had a lovely day out in London with my boyfriend. Couldn't ask for anymore :)
It was a long day and I was so tired when I finally got home but it was worth it.

I am planning to make myself a coat this week as I am off for four days, so hopefully there will be a post about it later this week :)

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to post any links/comments below :)

Thank you for reading!

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all well!

Today I have decided to post my August Favourites, it is a mixture of fashion, beauty and technology.  I was going to post this last night but my family and I went out for dinner so I didn't have time to write up my outfit post and this one. Which is why I am posting my favourites today :)

I am going to start with technology, since it is only one item. I had finally saved up enough money to buy myself a macbook pro! I have wanted a macbook since I started photography (all the way back in Year 9 at school!) So I am really happy that I have finally managed to own one :)

Love the way the keyboard and Apple logo lights up!
(I'm sad. I know)

Next is my beauty favourites. I have chosen: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, Creightons Movie Matte Photo Finish Moisturiser and my all time favourite MAC lipstick in Creme Cup.

(Please excuse the horrendous photo.
I couldn't find my Nikon and the lighting in my room is...crap.)

Starting with the Micellar Cleansing Water by Garnier, I absolutely swear by this. My skin feels so fresh and clean after using the water. It removes your make up and dirt from the day and leaves your skin feeling soft and clean. I recommend this to everyone. You do need to use a good moisturiser though, as after some use your skin may dry out a little. Or it could just be me, as I suffer mildly from dry skin. I use it every day in the morning and evening, replacing baby/skin wipes.
This is actually my second bottle.

Next is the Creightons Movie Matte Photo Finish Moisturiser which is only £1... Yes its only £1! From Poundland! I read a review about it in a magazine from work (can't remember which magazine) and thought that I would give it a go. My thought was that its only £1, if I don't like it I haven't spent a fortune on it. I love it. It's actually really good, it gets rid of the shine/t-zone and makes your skin feel so soft. I only use it in the mornings and I don't feel the need to put foundation on either, I just put some powder on and my face looks fine. No shine and it looks like I have foundation on because of the powder on top. Perfect.
I have to admit... it does smell of strawberry yoghurt a little... but it's all good :)
If you have a spare pound and your in poundland, give it a go. You'll be surprised :)

Lastly, my all time favourite Mac lipstick in creme cup. The colour is just perfect for me, sometimes I think red can make me look deathly pale, so this is a really good go to colour for me instead of red. Although I would love to pull of the classic red lipstick like I see many other girls wear, but I don't think I have found my 'perfect' shade of red yet. Which is why I love this colour so much, I can wear it everyday and I find it just suits me.

On to my fashion favourites now, I have so many but I have managed to narrow it down to just two. My Dr martens and a tartan skirt.

Both items are from New Look

Dr Martens - Sole Traders

The tartan skirt is from yesterdays outfit post and you can probably guess that I am totally in love with this skirt. It is just perfect. All that needs to be said. If you want to go into detail about it, just take a look at the post before - Outfit of the day: Tartan Skirt.

The Dr Martens. I have always like them, just thought they would never suit me and they would make my feet look clumpy and huge. Well. I was proved wrong when my boyfriend made me try them on. Now I am obsessed with Dr Martens. I have already planned in my mind what pair I am going to get next! I haven't even worn these long enough to be super comfy yet and I want another pair. They are getting there though, I reckon another couple of weeks and I can stop covering my feet in plasters just to wear them. They go with anything! I generally thought I was going to have trouble finding things to wear them with, but it has actually been really easy.

Well thats all of my favourites, I hope you enjoyed reading this post! It's the longest post I have written so far and hopefully not my last!!

Thank you all for reading, if you have any comments/questions about any of the items just leave a comment below and I will get back as soon as I can :)

Thank you again! Have a lovely evening!

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all well!

Ribbed Top & Plaid Skirt - New Look
T-bar Shoes - Primark
Watch - Swatch
Bracelet & Charms - Pandora

This outfit is my favourite outfit so far! Totally in love with the skirt and the top!!

I have been searching for a high neck top like this since the beginning of August, I know there are many different versions and styles out at the moment, but most of them are cropped. Since I work 5 days a week and I'm not allowed to wear crop tops, I couldn't bring myself to buy them as I would want to wear them most days. So when I found this one in New Look, I was over the moon! (still am) Its the perfect length and its just so comfortable!! Perfect for work :) I am planning to buy the top in the other colours available which are cream/off white and pink/red. I'm hoping they bring out other colours as well.
I wouldn't usually go for a skirt this style because I would be conscious that it was too short. However the fabric and the print just sold it for me, its just amazing. I am a bit conscious when I sit down in the skirt as it rises up a little but it's not the end of the world. I'm sure most girls often feel the same with mini skirts. Wearing it with tights helps as well, I'm not constantly pulling the skirt down or messing with it to make it look longer (stupid I know) I just have to remember not to bend down too far...

New Look have some amazing pieces in store at the moment!! I could quite happily buy my autumn wardrobe from there.
The skirt and top are from the 'Off The Grid' trend/collection and I will defiantly be buying more from that look, especially the 'White Grid Print Backpack' (see below)

Beautiful isn't it!?

Well that's all for my outfit post, hope you all enjoyed reading it :)
I will be posting an August Favourites either later this evening or tomorrow evening, so keep your eyes peeled! :)

Thank you so much for reading, hope you enjoyed it!

Striped Blouse - £14.99
Burgundy Skinny Jeans - £14.99
Silver Rings - £2.99
Burgundy Bag - £12.99
Boots - £29.99
Hat - £12.99

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all well :)

After being at work all day yesterday and todays weather being miserable, I haven't had the chance to take any photos for my outfit post -.-
However I have a week off this week, so I will be taking photos of a couple of outfits which will cover times like this.

Instead of writing an outfit post, I have decided to write a wish list post. I have chosen my work H&M because there are so many beautiful pieces in at the moment!! If I had the chance I would most likely buy it all! Even with staff discount, the amount of pieces I want (and need in my life) I would still be broke afterwards.
Anyway, I have gathered some images from the H&M website and Polyvore to put together the image above, showing what I would like most at the moment. I plan to buy these items...eventually.

Starting with the boots...they are just wonderful. They are perfect for autumn and you can wear them with almost everything! They do come in a matte black if your not a fan of the patient look. They are also the most expensive out of the items I have chosen, but I think they are worth it.
The burgundy bag is also a must have! It looks so simple but I love it! The colour is perfect and its just the right size for everyday use. It also comes in a mustard yellow which is also beautiful.

The striped blouse and jeans are lovely however they are not anything special. Just a nice simple outfit for autumn. The jeans are very popular though, they are sold out in my store. I have not seen the blouse yet, but when I do I will defiantly grab one. I think the checked scarf is amazing, I really need this since the weather has turned horrible early. So it will keep me warm on the cold, rainy days.

The rings and the hat are just a wish, since most rings don't fit my fingers as they are so skinny, they just fall off! I was wearing a ring this morning (can be seen on my instagram) and I looked down at my hand about an hour ago and noticed that it was not there. I have not yet found it -.- So I tend to stay away from wearing rings, as much as I would love to wear them. The hat...I really really wish I could pull off hats!! I have seen so many nice ones, but they just do not suit me!! I might buy a cheaper one and see if I can arrange it right so it looks okay but I'm not going to get my hopes up...

Thats all for my wish list post, hope you enjoyed reading the post!!
Feel free to leave all comments! :)

Thanks for reading!!

Hey Everyone,
hope you are all well,

Firstly I know this post is late, it's because I'm in the process of moving all my documents and photos over to my new laptop which arrived on monday. So I thought it was worth waiting, so I can save the new outfit photos onto my new laptop rather than my old one.

Anyway this is my outfit from sunday and I hope you enjoy the rest of this post :)

Coat, Skinny jeans & Shoes - Primark
Blouse - H&M
Silk Scarf - Vintage Boutique in Paris

This coat. Is AMAZING. I cannot believe it is from Primark! I have been on the look out for a beige/camel colour coat for this fall. It has been on my 'to buy' list for a while and since I am earning a bit more now, I thought that I would finally spend out and buy one. Originally I was looking in shops like Zara, River Island and Topshop for this but I couldn't find one that matched my vision of the 'perfect' coat for me. I honestly I did not expect to find the coat in Primark...for only £23!! As soon as I saw the coat, I snatched it up and did not think twice about it. I do wish it was slightly thicker but the style and colour are just perfect. Exactly what I wanted. I will just wear thicker jumpers underneath and big scarfs.
Now I have this coat, I cannot wait till autumn so I can wear this coat everyday! Admittedly I do enjoy dressing for autumn/winter more than summer, in which I get called 'odd' and 'weird' for, but I couldn't care less. I just love the cooler weather.

The blouse is from H&M and it comes in two other colours which I have brought, since its a nice basic that will go with most things. I have it in a mustard yellow which is bang on trend for this autumn and I also have it in a cream colour with small blue birds printed on it. The only downside is that the fabric is quite delicate and snags easy, so just be careful if you have brought or plan to buy any of these blouses.

I brought my scarf from a small boutique while I was in Paris last year. I have lost the business card from the boutique, so I don't remember where exactly it is from. The scarf print is off the major landmarks in Paris such as; Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. I think the colours are lovely as well as the illustrations of the landmarks. I just wish I remembered where it is from so if I do go back, I can find the boutique again.

Hope you enjoyed the belated outfit post and I promise that this weeks will be on time.

I was thinking about doing an August haul/wish list. I could post about the items I have brought or a wish list of items maybe?  Or I could post about my 'favourites' this month such as books, films, clothing etc. Still in the process of planning these ideas but hopefully I will post something slightly different than the usual outfit post.

Thats all from me and I hope you enjoyed this post
If you have any thoughts or ideas that might help, feel free to leave any comments :)

Jumper - River Island
Shirt & Mini Satchel - Primark
Skinny Jeans & Socks - Topshop
Shoes - Dr Martens

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all well :)

I was planning to post a summer outfit as I have actually brought a few skirts! However, the weather had other ideas. We have just got the tail end of the hurricane bertha today, so I really didn't want to dress in summer clothing. I just wanted to snuggle up in a big jumper as it feels like winter rather than summer. This jumper is perfect for days like today and I can't wait to wear it more in winter.

I love this jumper from River Island although the slogan isn't quite true for me, as I don't blog full time but I am aiming too! I brought the jumper as motivation, hoping that it will make me post more. Think it's working, as I have been looking forward to doing this post all week, it's just a shame about the weather. Other than that, the jumper is so comphy and goes with everything. I love it!

The topshop skinny jeans are perfect. I love them! They are my first pair from topshop, I have been reluctant to buy them as I have heard they are not that good and don't last long. If it wasn't for my boyfriend I probably still wouldn't have a pair, he made me try them on and I'm so glad that he did! He also made me try on the Dr Martens, which again I was unsure on because I thought they wouldn't suit me..but again he proved me wrong and I instantly fell in love with them.

The mini pink satchel is from primark, love the colour and perfect for days when I don't want to take anything other than my purse and phone. That's all I can fit in it, even if I wanted to put more in it. It looks cute and the colour is spot on for the pastel trend.

Hope you all enjoyed this post and I'm already looking forward to posting next week (see the jumpers working!)
Thank you for reading and feel free to leave any comments :)

Bomber Jacket - Primark
White Ripped Skinny Jeans - Zara
Black Cami - Topshop
Rucksack - F&F Tesco
Chunky Sandals & Choker - eBay

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all well :)

First post in a while, just not found the time to blog anything :( However I am planning to post every Sunday, as that is usually my day off. I am thinking about choosing my favourite outfit of the week and posting about it every Sunday until I have got into a routine of blogging.
I often post my outfits on my Instagram, so if you would like to see my day to day outfits, just take a look on there - michaelapunnett02

Anyway, back to this post. I am wearing a floral bomber jacket that I spotted in primark and fell in love with straight away. Even though it's still too warm to wear a jacket, I thought I could wear it as a cover up in the evenings for now. Just an excuse to buy it really.
The jeans I found in Zara for £12 in the sale! I had been planning on buying a pair of white jeans from primark and ripping them myself but when I saw these, that plan went straight out the window. Again it's still too warm to wear jeans, but I love them too much not wear them.

Thinking about it, I have completely skipped my summer wardrobe and gone straight into autumn/winter clothing.
I set out to buy some nice dresses and skirts, however I went home with 2 pairs of jeans, trainers, jumpers and a bomber jacket. So yeah, my summer wardrobe is going great. -.-

Hope you enjoyed this post, they will be more frequent I promise!
Thank you for viewing my blog, feel free to leave any comments :)

My Models & I

 Seashell Cami top & Jeans

Final Major Dress - Inspired by Special Occasion Wear & Flowers

Hey Everyone!
First of all I would like to apologize for not posting anything in the last couple of months. It has been pretty hectic and I couldn't find the time to sit down and blog.
The reason it has been so hectic is that I finish college for good next Wednesday! I have been so busy trying to get all my coursework done and prepare for our end of year show fashion show!! I can not believe how two years can go so quick!

These photos are of the garments I have designed and created this last year at college. They were taken outside our venue for our fashion show. The first photo is all my models together and myself (first left!), and then the last two photos are of my favourite outfits; especially the dress!!
The cami top was inspired by the seaside, which is why I designed a repeat pattern of shells. I thought  by creating the top in two sections, breaks up the print so it doesn't look busy.
My final dress was inspired by special occasion wear and flowers. I wanted to design and make something that I have not done before and push my skills further. At this moment in time, the dress is my favourite garment I have made and most likely the best out of all the garments I have made during my time at college.

On the plus side of leaving next week, I will be posting a lot more now! I will also have time to create the many garments I have wanted to make over the last few months; starting with some Co-ords!! I can't wait!!

Thank you for reading and I hope you all enjoyed this post :)

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all well!

Today I went on a college trip to London to visit the Paul Smith and Isabella Blow exhibitions, to gather research for our current project.
I only have photos from the Paul Smith exhibition due to the Isabella Blow exhibition would not allow us to take any photos; which is really annoying, there was some AMAZING outfits in there by Alexander McQueen. (my all time favourite designer!)

Anyway, I quite enjoyed the Paul Smith exhibition. I haven't really heard of Paul Smith before, but I knew about his iconic striped mini designs. The exhibition was split into sections of his career, from where he started up and through to present day. My favourite section was the design studio (see top photos!) it looked so creative and I just was to rummage around all the designs and fabrics!! I would love to work in an environment like this!
Another section I really liked was his clothing collections. Some of the pieces I wasn't too keen on, but everyone has their own opinion. There was a top that I loved straight away, which is a silk shirt with butterfly prints on. I really like how the yellow border print contrasts with the black, cream and red butterflies. I can see myself wearing a top just like that, I just love it!

As for the Isabella Blow exhibition...wow. I really wish they allowed photography in there.
To be honest, I have never heard of Isabella Blow before this exhibition; I had no idea who she was. However from the exhibition I now know that she was a magazine editor, and she discovered many models and designers such as Alexander McQueen, Julien McDonald and Philip Treacy. The exhibition showcased her life and designs/garments by the designers she discovered. Most of the garments were by Alexander McQueen, which I loved. I did enjoy this exhibition, but I really wish we could have taken photos.

That's all from me tonight, hope you enjoyed reading this post :)

Jacket - Topshop, Blouse - Urban Outfitters, Trousers - Zara, Bag - Topshop, Shoes - H&M

Hi Everyone!
First of all, I would like to welcome you to my blog. This is actually my first blog so I am still learning how to use Blogger properly. If you have any helpful tips, just leave a comment below :)

I love florals and I don't want to just wear them in summer. So when I spotted these floral trousers from Zara, I had to get them! They are perfect for the cold winter months and they brighten up any day. This is just one of the outfits I wore with them, you can literally pair them with anything. I love them so much! They were only £25 as well, which is a really good price.
I actually found the leather Topshop jacket in a charity shop...for only £10!! So far that jacket is the best item I have found in a charity shop. It did have a small rip in the sleeve lining, but that was easily fixable. I had to share this with you because I still cannot believe I found it! Charity Shopping is definitely a must! Especially since the money is going to a good cause :)

So, this is it for my first post. However there is going to be loads more to come!
Thanks for looking at my blog and if you want me to take a look at your blog, just leave the link in the comments :)
